The high concentration of oleic acid (66%) and linoleic acid (25%) makes the oil particularly popular in skin and hair care. In hair care, the hair is supplied with moisture, gains volume and becomes supple.
Apricot kernel flour - the protein booster
Whatever remains after pressing the kernels, we finely grind into our apricot kernel flour. With its nutty taste, it offers an equal alternative to the better-known, slightly lighter almond flour. 100 grams of apricot kernel flour contains around 51 percent protein - a relatively high value compared to other flours.
The impressive protein content makes apricot kernel flour especially attractive for low-carb diets. With a share of 23 percent, fiber is the second most important nutrient group. Dietary fiber is a delicacy for our intestinal bacteria, which makes a significant contribution to our well-being.
